Excited is a design agency, and I created the illustration language it runs on, used across the website, the blog, events and social media.

The rules are tight on purpose. Simple geometric shapes, straight lines and circles, held to geometric precision, restricted brand color palette. No obvious metaphors, which is the hardest rule to follow and the reason the work doesn't look like anyone else's.

I art-directed the illustrations that came after and documented the system in detail, so anyone on the team could work in the style without guessing. It became one of the most recognisable parts of the agency's visual presence and gets a lot of love.
